Respect Life Ministry Update. a. 48 Years of Roe v. Wade. The death count is over 62 million precious infants - more than the death toll of all US wars combined, but we won’t hear the facts from the mainstream media. We may not see most of society in an outrage. But we cannot ignore the abuse, harm, and immorality of abortion under the guise of “liberty,” “women’s choice,” and “healthcare”. As the new Administration endeavors to increase abortion access, we must remember the truth that life begins at conception and that all life is valuable. b. In small ways, we can all take action that will help turn the tide. - Vote pro-life, especially at the state level. - Build up the culture of life. Teach young people modesty, purity, and why premarital sex is not freeing, but all too often leads to confusion and pain. - Pray for an end to abortion and for the changing of hearts across the nation and entire world. - Support families facing a prenatal diagnosis. While some may say it is selfish for parents to allow a child with a disability to be born, encourage them that resources are available, and all life is precious. - Support mothers and fund local resources.
